Mr. Vasilchikov spent the last 10 years advising privately-held companies, many of which were family-owned businesses, where the owners were looking to sell, buy, recapitalize, or raise capital.
Prior to founding ARGO Capital Advisors, he spent 4 years at MFS Capital Advisors, advising lower middle-market companies and fast-growing, early-stage businesses across food & beverage, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, media, and software industries on M&A, acquisition financing, recaps, growth equity, and turnarounds.
Before MFS, Misha was a partner at iDeals Solutions Group, a global software company. He helped launch their U.S. operations and was responsible for creating partnerships, growing revenue, developing strategy and expanding their services to other parts of the world.
Mr. Vasilchikov received a BA degree in Economics and Finance from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York. Misha lives in Brooklyn, with his fiancée and two Scottish fold cats, Lily and Lola. In his spare time, Misha enjoys the outdoors and spending time at the beach, snowboarding, playing and coaching water polo, traveling and seeing the world!
Mr. Zykov has significant experience advising companies on mergers, acquisitions, and various other strategic alternatives.
Prior to co-founding ARGO Capital Advisors, he spent 5.5 years in the Consumer Group at Stephens Inc., a family-owned, middle-market investment bank. At Stephens. Mr. Zykov focused on M&A, debt and equity financings for small-cap and mid-cap companies across food, agriculture, consumer products and services, and restaurant sectors.
Before Stephens, Mr. Zykov worked at Jefferies’ M&A team in New York where he advised on a wide range of M&A transactions across various industries with a total deal value of over $1.5 billion. His experience includes broad and targeted buy-side and sell-side transactions, mergers, divestitures, take-privates and fairness opinions.
Mr. Zykov began his career in Corporate Development at New York Life Insurance Company focusing on strategic and M&A initiatives for the company’s business units.
Mr. Zykov received BS degrees in Economics and Management from MIT and holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Mr. Petrakakos brings expertise in leading lower middle-market M&A and capital raising for green technologies, ship finance, maritime industrials, and infrastructure. Nikos is an entrepreneurial and creative strategist with deep expertise in Transportation Finance, Sustainability & Technology, and playing an instrumental role in the global maritime industry’s showcasing of the financial and risk management benefits of embracing Energy Efficiency to key stakeholders. He brings a demonstrated ability to connect dots in one sector while drawing from solutions in an often uncorrelated sector, able to uniquely employ a combined technical and financial approach in solving new challenges and market analysis.
In addition to being a partner at ARGO Capital Advisors, Nikos is the co-founder of Ursus Maritime Capital, the first provider of Green Ship Retrofit financing. He uniquely blends 15 years of commercial and finance maritime background, with technical and operational know-how. Prior to his role at Ursus Maritime, Nikos was Director of Investment Banking and Head of Environmental Innovation for Seabury Capital. He began his career with Oldendorff Carriers, the largest privately owned dry-cargo ship operators globally, followed by executive roles at ship managers HART Shipping, and PPG Industries, and Maroon Capital Group.
Nikos holds an MSc degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Ocean Systems Management, and a BSc in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from the Webb Institute.

James Parker is a seasoned executive with extensive, high-level experience in turnarounds, restructuring, strategic overhaul and business planning and forecasting. He's held senior-level positions in consulting, investment firms, banking and in the cannabis industry until founding Trava Capital, a distressed cannabis fund. Prior to founding Trava, Mr. James Parker (the “General Partner” or the “GP”) was the CFO of MedMen (CSE: MMEN, OTC: MMNFF), where he led the go-public listing effort that culminated in a then-record $1.65B public valuation for a US operator. While at MedMen, Mr. Parker also oversaw the performance of two related private equity funds (MedMen Opportunity Funds I & II). Along the way, Mr. Parker built a comprehensive public finance function from scratch, while directly managing and monitoring operational financial performance.
Prior to joining MedMen, Mr. Parker built a career in Turnarounds and Restructuring (largely for PE and Hedge fund clientele) with Alvarez & Marsal before building a boutique advisory specializing in distressed interim management for lower-middle market PE firms. He has worked out approximately $1B in distressed credit, including bulge bracket bankruptcies such as Eddie Bauer and multiple compromised Private Equity portfolio positions for firms such as Elevation Partners and Plainfield.
Additionally, Mr. Parker has worked as a relationship manager for an international commercial bank, as well as an engineer on classified defense programs for numerous A&D companies and government agencies. Mr. Parker received his bachelor’s degree in Astrophysics from Rice University and his MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.

Mr. Lechner is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer, with significant experience advising companies and creditors on a number of strategic alternatives, including bankruptcy and debt advisory. He has over $25 billion of M&A and capital markets experience.
He regularly provides Fractional CFO and CEO advisory work to a number of companies across a range of sectors, with a special emphasis on managing tight liquidity situations. Additionally, he regularly provides due diligence services for private equity firms and hedge funds and has worked on dozens of such projects in recent years.
Previously he was Chief Financial Officer of a blockchain technology company that he helped grow to 90 FTEs and $100 million of run-rate revenue. Prior to that, he was VP of Corporate Development at Zayo, a telecom company.
Prior to going ‘in-house’, Mr. Lechner worked in investment banking at Canaccord Genuity, Jefferies and Rothschild, with a special emphasis on leveraged finance, debt advisory, turnaround management and bankruptcy/restructuring work.
David holds a Masters in Business Administration from New York University and an Honors in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.

Jamal Motlagh is an experienced business builder and executive that has been working in the cannabis industry for more than three years across a variety of functions. Jamal joined Northern Swan (d.b.a. Clever Leaves), a global, vertically-integrated cannabis company, as their fourth employee in the role of Chief Brand Officer. As a member of both their global M&A and operations teams, Jamal helped not only evaluate and execute company acquisitions and strategies but was also in charge of building internal brands and businesses within the cannabis and CBD space.
Jamal is currently the SVP of Marketing and Sales for a midwest-based multi-state operator with vertical businesses in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Massachusetts. His focus is on not only building brands and products within their operating states but also building out the company’s wholesale operations.
Before entering the cannabis industry, Jamal was the co-founder and CEO of Acustom Apparel, a bespoke 3D tailoring outfitter based in SOHO, NYC. Jamal spent six years building, fundraising millions and scaling Acustom into a global brand. Acustom was acquired by Sartor Inc. in 2016.
